Target Information
Five human RAD51 homologues have been identified: XRCC2, XRCC3, RAD51B, RAD51C, and RAD51D.
Each of these homologues interacts with one or more of the others, forming one complex or multiple smaller complexes.
RAD51D interacts with XRCC2 and RAD51C. Its expression pattern and sequence similarity to other RAD51 family members suggest it is part of a protein complex required for DNA repair and meiotic recombination.
