Target Information
BMP6 (Bone Morphogenetic Protein 6)는 뼈 형성 단백질(BMPs) 계열에 속하는 분비형 신호 분자로, 이소성 골 형성을 유도할 수 있습니다. BMP 계열은 Transforming Growth Factor-beta (TGF-β) 초가족에 속하며, 탈회된 골 추출물이 체외에서 연골내 골형성을 유도할 수 있는 능력으로 처음 확인되었습니다. BMP6는 배아 발생 초기 단계에서 발현되어 초기 발달에 중요한 역할을 하는 것으로 알려져 있으며, BMP5 및 BMP7과 구조적으로 유사하여 골 유도 활성에 관여할 가능성이 제시되었습니다.
