Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C, protected from light, for up to 1 week.
For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

CXCR5 (C-X-Chemokine Receptor Type 5, CD185), also known as Burkitt lymphoma receptor 1 (BLR1), belongs to the CXC chemokine receptor family. It is a G protein-coupled seven-transmembrane receptor for chemokine BLC and is specifically expressed in Burkitt’s lymphoma and lymphatic tissues such as lymph node follicles and spleen.
CXCR5 plays an essential role in B cell migration and has been reported in various human tissues including blood and salivary glands, as well as in animal lymphatic organs, bone marrow, brain, liver, lymph node, skin, spleen, stomach, and tonsil.
G-protein Coupled Receptors (GPCRs) share a seven-helix structure and exist in active/inactive forms. Their regulation and signaling pathways have major implications in pharmacological research, contributing to development of GPCR-targeted drugs such as Zyprexa (Eli Lilly) and Claritin (Schering-Plough).
