Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
CYB5R3 (NADH-cytochrome b5 reductase 3, diaphorase 1) is a 301 amino acid protein encoded by the human CYB5R3 gene.
It belongs to the flavoprotein pyridine nucleotide cytochrome reductase family and exists as two isoforms:
- Isoform 1: Anchored to the cytoplasmic side of the endoplasmic reticulum and mitochondrial outer membrane.
- Isoform 2: Soluble form found in erythrocytes.
CYB5R3 is involved in fatty acid desaturation and elongation, cholesterol biosynthesis, drug metabolism, and methemoglobin reduction in erythrocytes.
