Cerebral Protein 1은 eNoSC (energy-dependent nucleolar silencing) 복합체의 필수 구성 요소로, 세포 내 에너지 상태에 따라 rDNA 침묵화를 매개합니다.
포도당 결핍 시 NAD(+)/NADP(+) 비율 상승으로 SIRT1이 활성화되어 히스톤 H3 탈아세틸화 후 SUV39H1에 의해 H3K9me2 형성이 유도됩니다.
RRP8은 H3K9me2에 결합하며 메틸트랜스퍼레이스로 작용할 가능성이 있습니다.
