Target Information
Anti-Mouse secondary antibodies are affinity-purified with well-characterized specificity for mouse immunoglobulins. They are used for detection, sorting, or purification of target proteins. Secondary antibodies enhance versatility, allowing use with various detection systems (HRP, AP, fluorescence) and provide signal amplification since multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. These antibodies are typically generated by immunizing host animals with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and further purified or modified (immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) to achieve high specificity.
