Target Information

Anti-Mouse secondary antibodies are affinity-purified with well-characterized specificity for mouse immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of target molecules. Secondary antibodies increase versatility by enabling multiple detection systems such as HRP, AP, or fluorescence, and enhance sensitivity through signal amplification as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. These antibodies are typically generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled mouse immunoglobulins and further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
