Target Information
Anti-Mouse secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for mouse immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of target molecules. Secondary antibodies enhance versatility by allowing use with multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and improve sensitivity via signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
These antibodies are typically generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and may be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
