For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Voltage-gated potassium (Kv) channels are essential for potassium currents in the heart and central nervous system. Kv4 channels contribute to cardiac repolarization and prevent reverse propagation of action potentials in the brain.
KChIPs (Kv channel interacting proteins) are calcium-binding proteins that modulate Kv4 channel function.
Three known KChIPs are:

• KChIP1: Expressed in the brain
• KChIP2: Expressed in brain, heart, and lung (isoforms a, b, c)
• KChIP3 (Calsenilin, DREAM): Expressed in brain and testis; functions as a DNA-binding transcriptional regulator and interacts with presenilins, implicated in beta-amyloid formation.
