This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening to select optimal production clones.

Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is localized in the endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi, and is also secreted. Reducing expression of this gene increases susceptibility to ER stress-induced death and promotes cell proliferation.
Originally thought to contain an arginine-rich region at the N-terminus, later evidence indicates a smaller open reading frame without this tract. Polymorphisms in the arginine-rich region, including a mutation changing codon 50 from ATG to AGG, have been reported in various tumors, but these variants are also found in normal tissues and are not tumor-related.
