Target Information

ESAM은 55 kDa 막단백질로, 2개의 세포외 Ig 도메인, 단일 막관통 도메인, 120개의 아미노산으로 구성된 세포질 도메인을 포함합니다.
ESAM은 junctional adhesion molecule (JAM) 계열 단백질과 관련이 있으며, 내피세포와 활성화된 혈소판에서 발현됩니다.
내피세포의 tight junction에서 ESAM은 VEGF나 extravasating neutrophils 등 자극에 의해 혈관 투과성 조절에 관여합니다.
