Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
SMNDC1 is a paralog of the SMN1 gene, which encodes the survival motor neuron protein. Mutations in SMN1 cause autosomal recessive proximal spinal muscular atrophy. The SMNDC1 protein is a nuclear constituent of the spliceosome complex, highly expressed in skeletal muscle, and may share similar cellular functions with SMN1.
