Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
MET (c-Met) is a receptor-like tyrosine kinase implicated in various human malignancies. Upon ligand activation, MET interacts with PI3-kinase subunit PIK3R1, PLCG1, SRC, GRB2, and STAT3, activating downstream signaling pathways such as RAS-ERK, PI3K-AKT, and PLCγ-PKC.
MET is essential during embryonic development (gastrulation, muscle and neuron formation, angiogenesis, kidney development) and in adults for wound healing, organ regeneration, and tissue remodeling. Dysregulation of MET is associated with cancers including gastric, renal, and breast cancers, making it a critical target for cancer research and diagnostics.
