Target Information
TCF3 (E2A)는 배아 발생 중 조직 특이적 세포 운명을 결정하는 데 중요한 역할을 하는 전사 인자입니다. 근육 또는 초기 B세포 분화 과정에서 E2A는 조직 특이적 basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) 이합체와 함께 E-box motif (5'-CANNTG-3')에 결합합니다. 또한 kappa immunoglobulin 유전자 enhancer의 kappa-E2 site에 결합합니다. 일부 pre-B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) 사례에서 E2A 결손이 관찰되었습니다. 두 가지 인간 isoform이 대체적으로 스플라이싱되어 존재합니다.
