Product Specific Information
- Western blot에서 recombinant human Pentraxin 2(rhPentraxin 2)와 100% 교차 반응, recombinant mouse Pentraxin 2(rmPentraxin 2)와 25% 교차 반응이 관찰됨
- Direct ELISA에서는 rhPentraxin 2 및 rmPentraxin 2와 교차 반응 없음
- 재구성: 멸균 PBS에 0.5 mg/mL로 재구성
Target Information
이 단백질은 pentraxin 계열에 속하는 당단백질로, 특유의 오량체(pentameric) 구조를 가진다.
이 계열 단백질들은 유전자 중복으로 인한 높은 서열 상동성을 가지며, 병리적 아밀로이드 교차 베타 구조 단백질과의 결합을 통해 샤페론 역할을 할 가능성이 제시되었다.
또한 염색질 분해 조절 및 초기 단계의 세포사멸(apoptosis) 세포 결합에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있다.
