Product Specific Information
1 µg/mL of MA5-45094 was sufficient for detection of HSP70/HSC70 in 20 µg of heat-shocked HeLa cell lysate by colorimetric immunoblot analysis using Goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody. Detects approximately 72 kDa (HSP) and 73 kDa (HSC).

HSPA8 (Heat Shock Protein Family A (Hsp70) Member 8) is also a protein-coding gene associated with auditory system disease and Borna disease. It participates in mRNA processing and selective autophagy. Gene Ontology annotations include RNA binding and ubiquitin protein ligase binding. An important paralog of this gene is HSPA2.
