Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.
Advantages:
- Enhanced specificity and sensitivity
- Lot-to-lot consistency
- Animal origin-free formulation
- Broader immunoreactivity due to large rabbit immune repertoire
Target Information
Fibronectin is a disulfide-bonded dimer (230–250 kDa) found in the extracellular matrix and plasma. It forms insoluble, cross-linked polymers in connective tissues and vessels. Fibronectin plays key roles in:
- Embryonic development and tissue remodeling
- Cell adhesion and migration
- Wound healing, blood coagulation, and metastasis
Fibronectin expression is elevated in non-small cell lung carcinoma, contributing to tumorigenicity and resistance to chemotherapy-induced apoptosis. The gene undergoes alternative splicing, potentially generating up to 20 transcript variants.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
