Target Information
FANCD2 (Fanconi anemia group D2 protein)은 염색체 안정성 유지에 필수적인 단백질로, 감수분열 중 상동 염색체의 정확한 결합을 촉진합니다.
이 단백질은 DNA 이중가닥 절단의 복구 과정에서 상동 재조합 및 단일가닥 결합 복구에 관여하며, 복제 스트레스에 의해 유도된 비중심체 이상 구조에 BLM 단백질의 표적화 및 안정화를 돕습니다.
또한 손상된 염색질에 BRCA2/FANCD1 복합체의 적재를 촉진합니다. FANCD2 유전자의 결함은 Fanconi anemia complementation group D2로 알려진 질환을 유발하며, 이는 골수의 모든 세포 계통에 영향을 미쳐 빈혈, 백혈구 감소증, 혈소판 감소증을 초래합니다.
