Product Specific Information
In direct ELISAs and Western blots, less than 1% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse Wnt-4, Wnt-8a, and Wnt-9b is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
The WNT gene family encodes secreted signaling proteins involved in oncogenesis and developmental processes such as cell fate regulation and embryonic patterning.
WNT6 is overexpressed in cervical and colorectal cancer cell lines, often coexpressed with WNT10A.
It may play key roles in carcinogenesis. WNT6 and WNT10A are clustered in chromosome 2q35.
The human WNT6 protein shares 97% amino acid identity with the mouse Wnt6 protein.
