Product Specific Information
- In sandwich ELISAs, less than 0.2% cross-reactivity with recombinant human HGF R and recombinant mouse HGF R is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.
Target Information
MET (c-MET) is a receptor-like tyrosine kinase whose dysregulation has been linked to many types of human malignancies. Upon ligand activation, MET interacts with PI3-kinase subunit PIK3R1, PLCG1, SRC, GRB2, and STAT3, leading to activation of signaling cascades such as RAS-ERK, PI3K-AKT, and PLCγ-PKC.
MET plays a critical role in embryonic development including gastrulation, muscle and neuron formation, angiogenesis, and kidney development. In adults, it contributes to wound healing, organ regeneration, and tissue remodeling.
MET dysregulation has been associated with several cancers including gastric, renal, and breast cancers, making it a key target for cancer therapeutics and diagnostics.
