Target Information

Anti-Canine secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for canine (dog) immunoglobulins. They are useful in the detection, sorting, or purification of their specified targets. Secondary antibodies offer increased versatility by enabling the use of multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and provide greater sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. These antibodies are typically generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to generate highly specific reagents.
