Product Specific Information
1 µg/mL of MA5-45288 was sufficient for detection of Aha1 in 10 µg of HeLa cell lysate by colorimetric immunoblot analysis using Goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody. Detects approximately 38 kDa, can run up to 45 kDa on SDS-PAGE. Recognizes human Aha1, mouse Aha1, and mouse Aha2.
Target Information
Acts as a co-chaperone of HSP90AA1. Activates the ATPase activity of HSP90AA1, leading to an increase in its chaperone activity. Competes with the inhibitory co-chaperones FNIP1 and TSC1 for binding to HSP90AA1, providing a reciprocal regulatory mechanism for chaperoning of client proteins. [UniProt]
