Target Information
ZFP36은 성장 인자 반응 조절에 관여하는 새로운 zinc finger 구조를 가진 조절 단백질로 알려져 있습니다.
ZFP36의 발현 억제는 대식세포 유전자 mRNA 및 TNF 단백질 방출을 증가시키며, 반대로 과발현 시 동일 유전자의 발현이 감소합니다.
이 단백질은 JNK 및 MAP kinase 계열의 다른 단백질에 의해 인산화될 수 있으며, 발현 이상은 류머티즘성 관절염의 질병 활성도 증가와 연관될 수 있습니다.
또한, ZFP36 발현 프로파일은 전립선암의 임상적 예후 예측과 관련이 있습니다.
