Product Specific Information
This antibody detects endogenous levels of Flt3 / CD135 only when phosphorylated at Tyr969.
Target Information
FLT3 is a tyrosine protein kinase that belongs to the growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase family. Activation occurs via binding of the fms-related tyrosine kinase 3 ligand to the extracellular domain, inducing homodimer formation and autophosphorylation. The activated receptor phosphorylates and activates multiple cytoplasmic effector molecules involved in apoptosis, proliferation, and differentiation of hematopoietic cells in bone marrow. Mutations causing constitutive activation of this receptor are associated with acute myeloid leukemia and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
