Antibody detects endogenous levels of ETV6 / Tel only when phosphorylated at Ser257.
Target Information
This gene encodes an ETS family transcription factor. The protein contains two main functional domains:
- N-terminal pointed (PNT) domain: involved in protein–protein interactions.
- C-terminal DNA-binding domain: responsible for DNA interaction.
Gene knockout studies in mice suggest that ETV6 is required for hematopoiesis and maintenance of the developing vascular network.
This gene is implicated in numerous chromosomal rearrangements associated with leukemia and congenital fibrosarcoma.
