Target Information
APC1 (Anaphase Promoting Complex Subunit 1) is a conserved component of the anaphase-promoting complex/cyclosome (APC/C), a cell cycle-regulated E3 ubiquitin ligase responsible for controlling mitotic progression and G1 phase transition.
APC/C mediates the degradation of anaphase inhibitors, mitotic cyclins, and spindle-associated proteins to ensure orderly mitosis. APC1 expression levels are relatively consistent across tissues and cell lines, indicating its function as part of a complex.
