Anti-F-box only protein 42
The gene FBXO42 (F-box protein 42) is mapped to human chromosome 1p16. It is mainly expressed in the heart and skeletal muscle. However, the mRNA is also present in the placenta, liver, pancreas, brain, lung and kidney. The encoded protein has a kelch domain and a F-box motif. FBXO42 belongs to the F-box family of proteins.
