Anti-Calcium/calmodulin-dependent 3′,5′-cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase 1B, Anti-Cam-PDE 1B, Anti-63 kDa Cam-PDE
The gene PDE1B (calcium/calmodulin-dependent 3′,5′-cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase-1B) is mapped to human chromosome 12q13. It belongs to PDE family of proteins. Three types of PDEs exist: cAMP (cyclic AMP)-specific, cGMP-specific, and dual-specific (PDE1B). PDE1B has been shown to be present in brain tissue, particularly in dopaminergic regions such as the striatum and nucleus accumbens.
