For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Major histocompatibility (MHC) class II molecules are transmembrane proteins with a central role in immune system regulation.
The RFXANK protein, together with regulatory factor X-associated protein and regulatory factor-5, forms a complex that binds to the X box motif of MHC class II gene promoters and activates transcription.
This complex interacts with MHC class II transactivator to control cell type specificity and inducibility of MHC class II expression.
RFXANK contains ankyrin repeats involved in protein-protein interactions.
Mutations in this gene are linked to bare lymphocyte syndrome type II, complementation group B.
Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described, with only one showing activation activity.
