- Western blot 및 ELISA에서 recombinant human Cathepsin B, C, F, L, O, S, Z와 교차 반응 없음
- Western blot에서 Cathepsin V의 pro form만 인식하며 active form은 인식하지 않음
- 재구성 시 멸균 PBS에 0.5 mg/mL 농도로 용해하여 사용
Target Information
Cathepsin V (CTSU, CTSV, CATL2, cathepsin U, cathepsin L2)는 리소좀성 시스테인 단백질분해효소로, 각막 생리 및 인간 흉선에서 불변 사슬의 분해에 관여합니다.
이 단백질은 각막 상피, 활성화된 대식세포, 결장암 및 유방암 조직에서 발현됩니다.
Cathepsin V mRNA(1.8 kb)는 정상 인간 흉선 및 고환에서 발현되며, peptidase C1 패밀리에 속합니다.
Cysteine proteinase는 preproenzyme 형태로 합성되어 proenzyme으로 처리된 후, 리소좀으로 이동하거나 분비 경로를 따라 이동합니다.
