Product Specific Information
The monoclonal antibody m2a-15F8 recognizes mouse IgG2a antibodies and is used as a secondary reagent in flow cytometry and microscopy.
It does not recognize other mouse isotypes nor cross-react with rat IgG2a or any rat isotype antibodies.
- Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
- Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells
- Recommended usage: ≤ 1.0 µg per test in 100 µL final volume (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test, empirically determined)
- Optimize antibody titration for best assay performance
Fluorochrome Information:
- Excitation: 405 nm
- Emission: 436 nm
- Recommended filter: 450/50 bandpass or equivalent
- Ensure instrument compatibility with Super Bright 436
When using multiple Super Bright dye-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to reduce non-specific polymer interactions.

Anti-Mouse secondary antibodies are affinity-purified with well-characterized specificity for mouse immunoglobulins.
They are used for detection, sorting, or purification of target proteins.

- Enhanced sensitivity via signal amplification (multiple secondaries binding a single primary)
- Typically generated by immunizing host animals with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species
