Target Information
Retinoblastoma (Rb) 단백질은 핵 내에서 작용하는 종양 억제 인산화 단백질로, DNA 결합 능력을 가지고 있습니다. Serine과 Threonine 잔기에서 인산화되며, SV40 large T antigen, adenovirus E1A, HPV-16 E 단백질과 복합체를 형성합니다. Rb 단백질은 전사 조절에 관여하며, 기능 상실 시 세포 성장 조절이 붕괴되어 암 발생으로 이어질 수 있습니다. RB 유전자의 이상은 유방암, 대장암, 전립선암, 신장암, 비인두암, 백혈병 등 다양한 암종에서 보고되었습니다.
