Human, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey, Marmoset, Bovine (100%); Rat, Pig (94%); Mouse, Dog, Rabbit, Opossum (88%); Elephant (81%).
For IHC(P), use proteinase K antigen retrieval. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides should be incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.
Target Information
The Vasoactive Intestinal Polypeptide Receptor 2 (VPAC2) is a member of a family of three G-protein coupled receptors which mediate VIP (vasoactive intestinal peptide) and PACAP (pituitary adenlyate cyclase activating peptide) function in various tissues.
VPAC1 and VPAC2 receptors together form a subtype of the VIP receptor. Expression of VIP and PACAP receptors has been associated with human tumors.
