Target Information
Anti-Sheep secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for ovine (sheep) immunoglobulins. They are useful in the detection, sorting, or purification of target antibodies. Secondary antibodies provide versatility for multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and enhance sensitivity through signal amplification. Typically generated by immunizing host animals with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species, these antibodies can be further purified and modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) to yield highly specific reagents.
