For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Phosphatidylethanolamine-binding protein 1 (PEBP1) binds ATP, opioids, and phosphatidylethanolamine, with lower affinity for phosphatidylinositol and phosphatidylcholine.
It acts as a serine protease inhibitor for thrombin, neuropsin, and chymotrypsin, but not for trypsin, tissue-type plasminogen activator, or elastase.
PEBP1 contains hippocampal cholinergic neurostimulating peptide (HCNP), which may play a role in presynaptic cholinergic neuron function in the central nervous system.
HCNP increases choline acetyltransferase production but not acetylcholinesterase.
