Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step.
Recommended desalting product: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).
Target Information
Protein NUMB homolog is an evolutionarily conserved protein that regulates neuronal progenitor cell differentiation.
It functions in clathrin-dependent endocytosis by binding to the AP-2 complex and is expressed in postmitotic neurons, playing a role in axonal growth.
Neural cells expressing Numb isoforms with short phosphotyrosine-binding (SPTB) domains exhibit extensive neurite outgrowth, which can be inhibited by voltage-gated Ca²⁺ channel inhibitors or Ca²⁺ chelators.
