Tachykinin Receptor 1 (NK1R)는 Tachykinin Receptor 하위 패밀리에 속하며, 신경펩타이드 Substance P(Neurokinin 1)에 의해 인지질대사 조절에 관여합니다.
이 수용체는 우울증, 불안, 스트레스 조절과 관련이 있으며, 행동 반응, 신경세포 생존, 심혈관 및 호흡 기능 조절에도 관여합니다.
류머티즘성 관절염 및 골관절염의 진행에도 관련이 있는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
두 가지 스플라이싱 변이가 존재하며, 주로 뇌, 혈액 림프구, 코, 소장, 위 등에서 발현됩니다.
