Product Specific Information
Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended prior to staining, using a 10 mM citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 10 minutes, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
After antigen retrieval, incubate samples with the primary antibody for 10 minutes at room temperature.
A suggested positive control is tonsil tissue.
Target Information
Transcriptional coactivator that specifically associates with either OCT1 or OCT2. It boosts OCT1-mediated promoter activity and, to a lesser extent, that of OCT2.
It has no intrinsic DNA-binding activity and recognizes the POU domains of OCT1 and OCT2.
It is essential for the response of B-cells to antigens and required for the formation of germinal centers.
