Target Information
The APPBP2 protein interacts with microtubules and is functionally associated with beta-amyloid precursor protein transport and processing. The beta-amyloid precursor protein is a cell surface protein with signal-transducing properties and is implicated in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer’s disease. APPBP2 is highly expressed in breast cancer, and multiple polyadenylation sites have been identified for this gene.
