Reconstitute antibody with 50 µL of double distilled water (DDW).
The reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week.
For longer storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g for 5 min).

Target Information

Muscarinic cholinergic receptor 2 (CHRM2) is an acetylcholine receptor that may act as a presynaptic autoreceptor inhibiting acetylcholine release.
It also mediates smooth muscle contractility.
In Alzheimer’s disease, selective loss of M2 subtype receptors occurs in cortical and hippocampal regions.
Increased M2 receptor heterozygosity is associated with depression in women.
M2 receptor expression is found in brain regions (cerebellum, cerebral cortex, hippocampus, medulla, striatum, thalamus) and in lung and prostate.
