Product Specific Information
Reconstitute in 100 µL of sterile water. Centrifuge to remove any insoluble material.
After reconstitution, keep aliquots at -20°C for higher stability, and at 4°C with an appropriate antibacterial agent.
Glycerol (1:1) may be added for additional stability. Avoid repetitive freeze/thaw cycles.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the neurotrophin family that controls survival and differentiation of mammalian neurons.
It is closely related to nerve growth factor and brain-derived neurotrophic factor.
This protein may be involved in maintenance of the adult nervous system and neuronal development in the embryo.
NTF3-deficient mice display severe limb movement defects.
The mature peptide is identical across mammals including human, pig, rat, and mouse.
