Target Information
Estrogen-related receptor gamma (ERRG, ERR3, NR3B3) is an orphan member of the nuclear hormone receptor superfamily. ERRG acts as a transcription activator in the absence of a bound ligand, binds specifically to an estrogen response element, and activates reporter genes controlled by these elements. ERRG also induces the expression of PERM1 in skeletal muscle.
