Product Specific Information

These polyclonal antibodies are of rabbit origin, developed by immunizing animals with proteins or peptides. The antibody is purified by affinity chromatography from rabbit sera and tested for functionality in various research applications.
Developed for Research Use Only, non-hazardous and non-infectious in nature.

Target Information

FOXN1 is a 648-amino-acid protein belonging to the winged helix/forkhead family. It contains one fork-head DNA-binding domain and functions as a transcriptional regulator involved in development.
FOXN1 directs lineage choices of multi-potential progenitor epithelial cells and regulates genes involved in lympho-epithelial interactions. It modulates keratinocyte differentiation in hair follicles and nail apparatus.
Defects in FOXN1 lead to T-cell immunodeficiency, congenital alopecia, nail dystrophy, macroscopic nudity, and thymus dysgenesis.

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
