Target Information
FOXO4 (Forkhead box O4)는 X 염색체에 위치한 FOXO4 유전자에 의해 암호화되며, AFX1 또는 MLLT7로도 알려져 있습니다. FOXO4는 FOXO1, FOXO3, FOXO6과 함께 O 클래스의 forkhead/winged helix 전사인자군에 속합니다.
FOXO4는 골격근과 지방 조직에서 풍부하게 발현되며, Insulin Responsive Element (IRE)에 결합하여 IGFBP1과 같은 Insulin/IGF1 신호 경로의 하위 타깃을 활성화합니다. Akt에 의한 FOXO4의 Ser/Thr 잔기 인산화는 14-3-3 단백질과 결합을 매개하고, FOXO4의 핵 외 이동을 유도합니다.
