Target Information
Aquaporin 2 (AQP2)는 신장의 집합관(collecting duct)에 위치한 호르몬 조절성 수분 통로 단백질입니다.
AQP2 유전자의 변이는 인간에서 유전성 신성 요붕증(nephrogenic diabetes insipidus)을 유발합니다.
바소프레신(vasopressin)에 의해 cAMP가 증가하면, AQP2의 세린-256이 인산화되어 세포 내 소포에서 주세포의 첨단막(apical membrane)으로 이동합니다.
최근 세린-261이 새로운 인산화 부위로 확인되었으며, 바소프레신 처리 시 인산화된 S261의 수준이 감소하는 것이 관찰되어, 바소프레신 의존적 AQP2 수송 조절에 관여함이 시사됩니다.
