Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The PTCH1 gene encodes a receptor for sonic hedgehog, a signaling molecule involved in embryonic development and tumorigenesis.
It acts as a tumor suppressor, and mutations are associated with basal cell nevus syndrome, esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, trichoepitheliomas, transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder, and holoprosencephaly.
Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
