Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Transforming acidic coiled-coil (TACC) proteins are a conserved family of centrosome- and microtubule-interacting proteins implicated in cancer.
The TACC2 gene encodes a protein concentrated at centrosomes throughout the cell cycle and is located in a chromosomal region associated with tumorigenesis.
Expression of this gene is induced by erythropoietin and may influence breast tumor progression. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
