Target Information
TAB3 functions in the NF-κB signal transduction pathway. It forms a ternary complex with TAK1 and TRAF2 or TRAF6 in response to TNF or IL-1 stimulation. TAK1 kinase activity activates NF-κB transcription factor. TAB2 and TAB3 interact with Beclin-1 in autophagy regulation; their overexpression inhibits autophagy, while depletion triggers it, indicating a control role in autophagy.
