Target Information
This gene encodes a protein identified in a screen for genes expressed in metastatic cells, particularly mammary adenocarcinoma cell lines. Expression correlates with metastatic potential in several carcinoma types but is also seen in normal tissues. The protein is associated with chromatin remodeling and transcriptional regulation, containing DNA-binding, dimerization, and methylation-related domains.
