This normal mouse serum can be used to inhibit non-specific binding of mouse monoclonal antibodies during staining for flow cytometric analysis.

Target Information
Normal sera are non-immune serum samples from various species (goat, human, mouse, rabbit, etc.) containing the typical complement of serum proteins, including immunoglobulins found in healthy animals.
Normal serum provides sufficient endogenous proteins to block nonspecific binding sites on fixed samples or assay substrates.
When used as an antibody diluent, non-immune serum maintains a native chemical environment for antibodies without adding foreign proteins.
It is widely used for blocking or saturating nonspecific interactions in immunodetection methods such as immunohistochemistry (IHC).
Normal sera are also useful as controls for testing antibody purification methods.
